Pre-Marital Counseling

Pre-Marital Counseling with Rondel

Preparing for a wedding is exciting, but a wedding is just one day. A marriage is a lifetime.

In our culture, it’s easy to invest enormous time, energy, and money into the details of a single day, while giving far less attention to the foundation that will carry a relationship for decades. Premarital counseling is about flipping that script. It’s about slowing down long enough to build something deep, lasting, and life-giving.

This page provides the sessions and resources I use to walk alongside engaged couples as they prepare not just for a ceremony, but for a covenant. Together, we explore what it means to build a Christ-centered marriage—one that is emotionally healthy, spiritually grounded, and resilient through every season of life.

  • Each in-person session lasts approximately 60–75 minutes. These are relaxed, conversational times designed to help you better understand yourself and your partner on a deeper, more meaningful level.

Please schedule your sessions at least six months before your wedding so we can complete Sessions 1–4 and Session 7 at least one week prior to your wedding day.

Sessions 5 and 6 are completed on your own after finishing Session 4.

Each session is password-protected and builds on the previous one. Passwords will be provided by Rondel as you progress.

Mark your calendar: Be sure to obtain your marriage license at least one week before your wedding day.

My hope is that these conversations will help you develop clarity, strengthen your relationship, and lay a foundation that will not only last—but flourish—as you learn to follow Jesus together.

  • Please schedule at least 6 months prior to the wedding so that we can get sessions 1-4 and 7 done at least a week before the wedding day.

  • Marriage License: Obtain at least one week before the wedding day
