CM315 Evangelism, Discipleship, and Faith Development
COURSE DESCRIPTION
CM315 is an exploration of how to develop Christlikeness through evangelism, discipleship, and faith development.
COURSE RATIONALE
Stephen Covey famously said, “The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.” Evangelism, discipleship, and faith development is the main thing for the Church, and she must do everything to keep it the main thing. When Jesus inaugurated and unleashed the Kingdom of God on earth, he gave his “main thing” charge:
“’All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matt 28:18-20).
This class is simple obedience to Jesus to make disciplemakers.
